Tyler Street Youth

At Tyler Street Youth, we exist to help 6th-12th grade students of Oak Cliff find and follow Jesus through faith, fellowship, and fun.

FIND & FOLLOW JESUS: We aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds, worldviews, and walks of life to learn more about Jesus Christ and what it means to follow him.

THROUGH FAITH: We believe that eternal life and salvation is received by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Therefore, we invest in the faith of our students through the study of Scripture, prayer, worship, and discipleship.

FELLOWSHIP: We are not meant to walk through life alone. We believe strongly in creating a family and close-knit community of believers among our youth students as they learn build one another up through encouragement, prayer, and accountability. Our youth leaders also seek to serve as adult mentors who partner with parents in the discipleship of their teenagers. Students are given the opportunity to connect and hangout with one another and our youth leaders on a weekly basis at Youth Sunday School from 11am-12pm and Wednesday Night Youth Group from 6pm-8pm. Our youth leaders also seek to connect with students through attending their extra-curricular events and activities.

& FUN: Lastly, we believe that shared experiences build trust and bring people together. That’s why we strive to make sure our youth students have a blast every time we get together! In addition to the games and activities that take place during our normal meeting times, we also plan fun outings for extra opportunities to connect and grow closer with one another.
